Project Overview
I decided to design a billboard and poster mockup for the Porsche 911 GT3 as a personal project, sparked by my fascination and passion for cars and racing. This interest led me to start an independent mini project where I could combine design with something I truly love. For the visual direction, I focused on creating a minimalist yet high-energy feel. The clean, understated layout reflects Porsche’s sense of elegance, while the sharp, dynamic lines and pacing of the design were meant to capture the adrenaline and raw performance spirit of the GT3.
Inspo.
I took inspiration from a lot of bird’s-eye view shots of cars racing on tracks, like in Formula One, rally racing, and racing games. From that perspective, you can clearly see the movement and direction of the cars, which really emphasizes their speed and adrenaline. I was fascinated by how the aerial view captures the flow and rhythm of the race, almost like watching a living map unfold in real time. It made me think about how design can capture not just the look of something, but the feeling and energy behind it. This idea became the foundation for my design.

Design Process
1. Started with an open-source picture of a porsche 91 gt3 car from top-down view.
2. Separated the background of the image from the car itself to create a png file
3. Visited Porsche's logo design and font guideline website to bring in assets
4. Experimented with a variety of designs, starting from fig.1 then, fig. 2, and finally to fig. 3.
